The Wexbury Evening Post

Fifteen-year-old breaks a club record that stood since 1987

The old record was set in the old baths, which were ten yards shorter than they should have been, a fact the club has never put on the board. The new one was set in a measured pool.

The swimmer trains before school four mornings a week and says the record was an accident of a good turn.

Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
