The Wexbury Evening Post
Station lift working again after six weeks
The lift failed in late August and the operator's first estimate was a fortnight. The replacement motor was out of stock in the country, and when it arrived the engineer qualified to fit it was on holiday.
The wheelchair users' group that counted the days has asked the operator for a spare motor to be kept in the town.
Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
