The Wexbury Evening Post
Every school roof in Wexbury to carry solar panels by 2028
The panels go up in the summer holidays, two schools a year, starting with the primary on the hill because its roof faces the right way. The power is used on site and the surplus sold.
The head of the hill school has asked for a display in the entrance hall so the children can watch the meter run backwards.
Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
