The Wexbury Evening Post

The Saturday run passes a thousand finishers for the first time

The run on the common has grown from forty finishers in its first week to a regular six hundred; Saturday's thousand came with a club from the city and the best weather of the autumn.

The volunteers ran out of finish tokens at nine hundred and eighty and handed out leaves.

Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
