The Wexbury Evening Post
Grafting course saves the abbey's last medlar
The medlar is thought to be two hundred years old and lost its main limb in the spring gales. The course took scions from the remaining branches and grafted them onto young stock.
Eight of the twelve grafts have taken.
Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
