The Wexbury Evening Post
Market traders agree to take cards by Christmas
The market hall's signal has been the obstacle: the walls are thick and the readers kept dropping the connection. The council has paid for a booster, and the traders' association has negotiated a group rate on the readers.
The egg stall will remain cash only, on principle.
Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
