The Wexbury Evening Post

High street rents fall for the third year, and two empty shops are let

The survey of the town's commercial agents puts the average rent on Castle Street at a fifth below its 2019 level. Two of the five empty units were let in September.

The agents say the lettings came with short leases and long rent-free periods, which is to say the fall is larger than it looks.

Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
