The Wexbury Evening Post
Food bank asks for tins, not pasta, as donations change shape
The food bank fed a hundred and ninety households in August, the most since it opened. Its stock is lopsided: donors give what they would buy for themselves, and the town eats a great deal of pasta.
The list on the door now names tinned fish, tinned meat, long-life milk and tea.
Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
