The Wexbury Evening Post
Dark skies night on the common: bring a torch and then turn it off
The council agreed to dim the common's lights for the evening after the group showed it the sky from the hill. The forecast is clear.
The group asks visitors to let their eyes adjust for twenty minutes before complaining that there is nothing to see.
Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
