The Wexbury Evening Post
The Regal reopens with one screen, a bar and the leaking roof fixed
The trust bought the building for a pound and raised four hundred thousand to repair it. The second screen is now the bar; the first has new seats from a closed cinema in the city.
The opening film is the one that was showing when it closed.
Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
