The Wexbury Evening Post
Bowls club wins planning permission for floodlights, at last
The neighbours objected to the first two applications on the grounds of glare; the third uses lamps that point down and switch off at nine, and the committee passed it without a vote.
The club hopes to run a winter league for the first time.
Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
