The Wexbury Evening Post

The last bank branch on Castle Street will close in March

The branch opened in 1879 and has outlasted four rivals. Its owner says footfall has halved since 2019 and that the post office handles most of what the counter did.

The traders' association has asked for the van to come on market days.

Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
