The Wexbury Evening Post

Apple day returns to the abbey garden with forty varieties to taste

The abbey's orchard was planted in the eighteenth century and replanted in the nineteen-nineties with the varieties the first planting had. Forty of them fruit well enough to taste.

The press is the one that was lent in 2009 and never collected.

Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
