The Wexbury Evening Post
Allotment waiting list passes three hundred names
The list grew by a hundred during the pandemic and has not shortened since. Half-plots were introduced in 2023 and are themselves now full.
The nursery site would add sixty plots if the drainage can be fixed; a soil survey is booked for November.
Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
