The Wexbury Evening Post

A marrow the size of a dog takes the show's top prize

The show's heaviest-marrow class has been won by the same two families for twenty years; this year's winner has had a plot for three. The marrow needed two people and a wheelbarrow.

It goes to the soup kitchen on Monday.

Wexbury's evening paper, invented: forty stories in five sections on a dense front, a wide stream of pictured stories beside a narrow rail of headlines, the paper's advertisers between them. A demonstration: Wexbury and its Evening Post are invented and the pictures are generated gradients. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the stream's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run; the rail arrives when it nears the viewport and has a real page of its own.
